- Request for repairs
Ask your landlord or agent to put a problem right, framed as your request.
- Chase a repair / no response
Follow up when a reported repair hasn't been dealt with or acknowledged.
- Request the return of my deposit
Ask for your deposit back at the end of the tenancy and request an itemised breakdown of any proposed deductions.
- Escalate to the agent's redress scheme
Ask a letting agent for their complaints procedure and which government-approved redress scheme they belong to.
