The letter

[Today's date]

Dear [Landlord / letting agent name],

Re: Follow-up about repairs at [Property address]

I am writing to follow up on [the repair you reported], which I first reported to you on [date you first reported it]. As far as I am aware this has not yet been resolved, and I would be grateful for an update.

Please could you let me know what is being arranged and when I can expect the work to be done. If it would help, I am happy to provide further photographs or to arrange access.

If I am not able to get this resolved, I may seek advice from Citizens Advice or Shelter, or contact my local council's private renting / environmental health team, about the options that may be available to me.

Thank you,

[Your name]
